Erin Beattie, Ph.D., LMHC

I am a licensed therapist with a deep commitment to supporting individuals, couples, and families on their journey toward healing and growth. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Ph.D. in Counseling, both from Florida Atlantic University.

In addition to my clinical work, I serve as an adjunct faculty member in the mental health counseling departments at Florida Atlantic University and Nova Southeastern University, where I help train the next generation of mental health professionals.

My clinical approach is trauma-informed and integrative, grounded in evidence-based practices that support meaningful, lasting change. I am an EMDR Certified Therapist and a Consultant-in-Training through EMDRIA, and I frequently work with clients healing from complex trauma and attachment wounds. I am also trained in the Gottman Method (Level 2) for couples therapy, the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), and the Safe and Sound Protocol, allowing me to tailor therapy to meet the unique needs of each client.

Alongside being an adjunct faculty for local South Florida universities, I have extensive experience as the Director of Clinical Services at a residential treatment program in South Florida geared towards serving adolescents & their families struggling with mental health and substance use disorders.
